Inez Hsing
BAppSci(Optom) (Hons), Grad Cert Oc Ther

Inez Hsing graduated from QUT in 2008 with First Class Honours and a University Medal. She was also awarded the Optometry Australia (QLD & NT Division) Clinical Excellence Award. After graduating, Inez worked in private practice for several years and completed a Graduate Certificate in Ocular Therapeutics in 2013.

 Inez has been with the OKKO Eye Specialist Centre since its conception in 2015. She has developed special interests in the clinical assessment of macular and vitreoretinal conditions, and therapeutic management of anterior segment disease and glaucoma. Inez also joined the Glaucoma Australia Optometry Committee in 2017 and is passionate about early detection and education of glaucoma in the general community. 

Inez has guest lectured at numerous continuing education conferences and seminars and has authored several articles in leading industry publications. She is active in the training of optometry students and currently works as a clinical supervisor in the QUT School of Optometry’s primary care clinics.

Zion Kim
BVisionSc MOptom (Therapeutically Endorsed)

Zion graduated from Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Vision Science and a Master of Optometrist, both with Distinction. Since graduating, Zion has gained various experiences in a mixture of corporate and independent optometry practices in Far North Queensland and Brisbane. She has volunteered in numerous school vision screenings and is affiliated with the Queensland Children’s Hospital (QCH) Eye Clinic’s Paediatric Optometry Alignment Pilot Program. Zion has a particular interest in glaucoma, which led to the completion of an Advanced Certificate in Glaucoma through the Australian College of Optometry. This additional qualification demonstrates Zion’s dedication to staying up to date with the latest advancements in optometry and providing the highest level of care to patients. Zion enjoys all aspects of optometry but has a special interest in pathologies and ocular therapeutics, managing a wide range of eye conditions, and providing patients with tailored treatment plans for optimal vision and eye health. Zion speaks Korean fluently.

Alicia Lou

With a Bachelor of Vision Science and a Master of Optometry from Deakin University, Alicia brings a wealth of expertise to the field of optometry. Alicia has been deeply committed to delivering exceptional optometric care to the Toowoomba region from 2018-2019. Her experience is enriched by a diverse patient base, as she has treated patients in locations such as Townsville, Cairns, and Ballina.

In 2020, Alicia furthered her qualifications by completing an Advanced Certificate in Children’s Vision through the Australian College of Optometry. This additional credential underscores her dedication to staying abreast of the latest advancements in myopia control for children.

Alicia joined OKKO in 2021 and has a particular interest in managing a wide range of eye conditions. She excels in crafting tailored treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient for optimal vision and eye health. Fluent in Mandarin, Alicia brings an added layer of accessibility to our diverse patient community at OKKO.
