In this post, Dr Judy Ku discusses the different ways to get the right glaucoma treatment through insurance and healthcare.
What does glaucoma treatment cost?
If you have a procedure done in clinic such as the SLT or the laser peripheral iridotomy, then part of the cost is funded by Medicare and there’s the out of pocket cost as well.
On the other hand, if you have surgery, then part of it will be also funded by Medicare and your health fund can also fund the other half.
If you want any specifics, please check with the OKKO Admin staff, who’ll be more than happy to give you a breakdown of the different costs.
It is also a good idea that you check with your health fund with regards to the amount of funding they provide.
We’d like to invite you to book a consultation with us.
A consultation is the only way that we can really assess the health of your eye and understand your condition and what we may need to do to get your eye health back to where it should be.
We look forward to meeting you where we can talk in person and discuss your condition in detail and talk through the options of getting you back on track with your eye health.
